who is ansel adams?
he is visionary figure of nature photography known for both his distinctive, dramatic, and beautiful landscape images and as a pioneer of environmental preservation. i could list many portrait photographers – old and new – that have had an influence on me, but it is with landscapes that i began my passion for photography many years ago, and ansel adams reminds me that every photograph is not just a snapshot of what you see but, also, how you felt in that moment.   i want my couples to look at their wedding images in years to come and remember just how fantastic they looked and felt.
