you may be wondering if i am the right  photographer  for  you. well, you can tell a lot about how i approach photography from my images - they’re bright, vibrant, fun, and about showing connections between people in love and their loved ones.

there are many titles used to describe photography styles and, if i had to describe mine, i would say it is 'creative reportage' - a combination of documentary photography and contemporary portrait photography, with a little bit of fine art thrown in! in the end though these are just titles, and what i like to hear from couples is that they simply love my style.

getting to know you is an important part of how i work, and i like to work closely with you discussing your requirements and ideas before your wedding to create images that suit your personality and style. whether you want natural bride and groom portraits, or more directed fine art portraiture, i will capture a stunning collection of photographs that tell your wedding story.

there are typically three types of images you can expect from your wedding photographs: natural, creative, and traditional.

natural - the majority of the photographs i take use a 'photojournalistic' / 'documentary' or 'reportage' approach (there's those titles again!). this basically means i photograph events and special moments as they happen, giving you a beautifully captured and natural record of your day.

creative - couples often approach me to photograph their wedding based on my signature style bride and groom portraits. my aim is to create beautiful unique and timeless images of you both - perfect as a canvas or fine art print for your wall. for these shots i make use of great scenery, light, and a mixture of directed and natural poses. my main package includes a 16"x12" framed portrait or canvas.

traditional - many people also like the more traditional line-ups, especially for capturing groups of family members. i present these formal group photographs with the same style and attention to detail as the rest of my photography. for this reason, i typically recommend 6-8 group photos, which take about 20 minutes to shoot.

i want to create a package to suit you, so you tell me what photographs you like and i will reflect this in my coverage of your event.
